Using PV to power your home is a modern approach to energy consumption, which helps you to save money and protect the environment. Today, thousands private residences owners have already switched to using natural energy to power their homes.
Via Solar is part of an overall renewable energy program. With us, you can also become part of a European project to create an independent energy base.
A solar panel is a compact construction of cells that consist of photovoltaic elements that convert sunlight into electricity. Homeowners can place solar panels on their roofs to replace or supplement their conventional energy source.

The typical private residence has enough rooftop space to house the necessary number of solar panels to generate enough solar electricity to meet its electricity needs. Via Solar can fit the solar panels almost at any surface as well as choose the type of panel suitable for each unique solution.

We offer an individual full turn-key solar PV design and installation service for your residence.

Battery storage

The key to effective operation of your PV is a correctly selected powerful battery storage requires your system.
The battery storage system consists of a battery that collects and stores the extracted energy and a controller that controls the power, connects and disconnects the battery by analyzing the level of charge. The system also uses an inverter, which acts as a converter. A complex of these elements turns direct current into alternating current. The generated electricity from the solar panels located on the roof of the house is wired to the charge controller, which controls the charging modes of the batteries and prevents overcharge of the batteries. The charge and discharge modes for batteries are very important because battery life depends on it.
The purpose of an inverter

The current coming from the solar panels and stored in the battery is direct current. In order to convert it to alternating current, which is necessary to operate most appliances, you need an inverter. The inverter is chosen so that its power is sufficient for the simultaneous operation of frequently used appliances. For example, a refrigerator, a light, an electric kettle and a computer all consume 2500 watts, so the power of the inverter should be not less than this power. Usually, the inverter is oversized, so that it does not work at maximum power and overloading does not occur.

WattRouter

WattRouter is a smart and reliable controller that allows you to use all the energy from your solar panels. WattRouter prevents the transfer of excess energy to the grid. Via Solar team through WattRouter can help you optimize your own consumption of energy generated by solar panels and other renewable energy sources running in parallel with the grid.
BATTERY STORAGE
Heat pump is an alternative to a gas or electric boiler, the principle of the pump is based on the production of heat. The heat pump does not produce heat, it takes
the energy of the air, water or ground and transfers it to the house. That is, the heat pump can work for heating, air conditioning and even water heating.

There are several types of heat pumps - air, ground and water. The most widely used are air pumps, the principle of their work can be compared with the air
conditioner, which is able to heat water for underfloor heating systems, radiators or fan-coils. The air-source heat pump is the most popular among homeowners,
as it is suitable for many types of residence and private houses and it has the shortest payback period.

System can use all the surplus power generated by your PV system to produce hot water. Every unit of power used to heat the hot water in this way reduces
imported energy by the same amount resulting in a significant saving in imported energy costs.

With the use of a heat pump system together with your photovoltaic plant you can get an additional grant for the implementation of the combined system in the amount of 10,000 CZK and a grant for heat pumps in the amount of 100,000 CZK.
HEAT PUMPS
The overall cost can be reduced even more by installing an electric car charger in your home as part of a PV station. Driving an electric car that is charged by your solar panels is a great way to ensure that your transportation is cost-effective and emission-free. Many EV owners think of buying a solar system as a pre- purchase of fuel for the next few years - at a price that can be paid off very quickly.
EV CHARGING
Regular servicing and maintenance of your home PV will ensure that your system is operating correctly and performing to its maximum capacity, even though PV is a low maintenance technology.
Via Solar team will prepare the individual recommendations for the operation of your home PV. After installing your home PV, our experts can remotely monitor whether the system is working properly, as well as prepare an energy audit at the customer`s request.
SERVICING & REPAIRS
The NovaZelenaUsporam program in the Czech Republic was created to reduce the cost for the implementation PV for your residence. Via Solar can offer guidance on what level of grants are available for your specific region and financial calculations to ensure you understand exactly how and when you can expect your overall benefit for the lifetime of your clean energy system. We can tell you what subsidy you can count on (the amount of the subsidy can be 225,000 CZK). We can also tell you how to combine energy efficient solutions for your home to increase your subsidy amount.
